What we have been Doing at Warlands this Week?
It has been a very exciting week for the WARLANDS development team. In addition to keep moving forward with all the new features in each update, we also had our demo ready for the presentation at Gamepolis. Being able to see live how the game works, and how you liked it has been very rewarding.
What did we present at Gamepolis?
At the Gamepolis event in Malaga, we presented a demo of the game that allowed to see the new idea of graphics and gameplay. It has been a very interesting process of development of the Alpha phase that has allowed us to reach that point.
The result has been excellent, the game is loved by all the players who try it. In addition, thanks to the large number of players who have tried the demo, we have received a lot of interesting ideas and tips that we incorporate into our list.

What are we doing in development?
By the time you read this article, we are certainly already moving forward on improvements that have come from the feedback of the live tests. We’ll talk about all that next week.
During last week and before the Malaga event, we worked very hard on some technical aspects among which we are going to highlight the following:
We improved aspects related to combat. We are working on making the PVP experience better and better, both from the movements and animations, as well as from the combat experience itself, timing, combat data visualization, etc.
We have also added a lot of new sounds. We are working very hard on the SFX section of the game. Sound is an important part and we are not neglecting it.
From the animation point of view, we have added new animations and combos during fights. Also, within the VFX we have added new paths for the sword and new effects for the weapons.

In addition to the graphics of the new weapons, we are working on the new environment development concepts. Take a good look at the concept art that the game is going towards by looking at this image in which you will better understand how the island system will work in the game:
Of course, to all of the above we have continued to add a lot of character improvement actions, bug fixes and technical fixes, and so on.
Our progress is going really fast, but without losing efficiency. We are meeting our goals step by step with the aim of creating the best competitive blockchain game.
