What are Warlands plans for Daotsu in 2023?

As you already know, 2022 has been a very exciting year for Warlands for many reasons, but, without a doubt, one of them is our acquisition of the Daotsu eSports Club. It is a parallel project, but directly related to the development of Warlands and today we are going to explain the reasons for this purchase, the year-end of the club and the expectations for 2023.

Why is Warlands in Daotsu?

Warlands is an eSports. Its design and construction from day one are focused on a competitive, team-based video game model that combines the best of Moba and Battle Royale.

From Warlands, with a lot of experience in game development, also in the communication section, we have always been clear that in order to understand something the most effective way is to put it into practice.

We wanted to better understand the world of competition. Putting ourselves in the shoes of the professional teams, we were also going to get closer to the feelings of the players competing with their guilds, the clans, and of course the eSports industry.

We can happily say that we are getting even more information than expected. The experience is positive from all points of view and every day we understand more and better the competitive section from the inside, both thanks to Daotsu and to our professional players who collaborate with the Warlands team.

What has 2022 been like at Daotsu?

It has really been a year of changes, successes and new illusions. We started with a CS team in the Brazilian A Series, which obtained very good results and to whose members we are very grateful.

But, for Q4 we started with the evolution of the club concept. This implied a professionalization of the structures, something that has been achieved with the incorporation of new professionals who have been taking responsibility for the different areas of work, from image and communication to the sports, legal, etc. aspects.

The goal was to conclude the year with several teams of different eSports in our house, paying special attention to new talents, in line with our philosophy of believing and betting on talent.

We can proudly say that the goal has been achieved, if you go to Daotsu’s social networks, besides being able to participate in events and competitions, you can see how our teams are growing in Valorant, Mobile Legends, Rocket League and those yet to come.

We are very proud that relevant people in the industry as the Coach of Valorant, Sup, have chosen us to work together in this idea of future growth that we have, but also of the firm commitment of our players, to whom we predict many successes and sporting growth.

What can we expect from Daotsu for 2023?

As we said at the beginning of the article, 2023 is a really special year for WARLANDS and all the projects we develop. Certainly also for Daotsu.

Our immediate objectives for the club are to continue consolidating this idea of growth and development of new talents and values. This would include a new CS team and probably, a new sport discipline added, to configure in the first quarter a group of five teams of different sports.

On the other hand, our teams will begin to compete on a continuous basis, something we have already been doing, and in some cases with very good results. But we will also open the door to the participation of partners and sponsors, offering what we believe is an environment for growth with great potential for future image.

It is also a good time to announce that we will launch the Daotsu Academy sometime in the first quarter of 2023, this is a project that makes us especially excited because it is the fundamental idea for the training of new talent and through which we will mark a very important differential with most clubs (do not forget that we are a technology company and that tools such as tokenization, although not immediate in its application, are also present in our horizon.
