As the time of our closed beta approaches, all development processes are accelerating. Our development team is at full capacity. In the last few months we have been increasing our staff, which today is close to 70 people.
In today’s post we summarize some of the main actions we have done in the last fifteen days in the development of Warlands.
We take this opportunity to remind you that very soon we will start a campaign of sweepstakes and contests called Quiz Warlands, in which we will offer a very interesting prize: stay tuned to our networks.
Monsters
● New Monster animations have been added making them look more realistic
● All monsters now have different behaviors depending upon the health they have
● New monsters UI has been added
Game Optimisations
● Made the game smoother with new updates
● FPS of the game has increased by 30–40 since the last update
● More things have been added to dynamic functions
Inventory
● A new inventory system has been added where users can select the default character
● New weapon selection has been added
Game
● Free 2 Play
● Play to Ear (tickets)
● These two modes have been added to the game for users to play
Sound
● Since the last few updates, we are adding 100s of game SFX in warlands every week for a better gameplay experience
Win/Loose
● New win and loose calculations have been added to the game
Game Calculations
● Since last few weeks we have been trying to balance the complete warlands game so that each user, winner or looser will get the desert rewards properly
● Lots of calculation has been made to reward each of the players of each team depending upon how they performed in each match(kills, K:D, score, captures, etc)
Animations
- More than 50 new animations have been added alone in 1 week for better smooth combat and movement
Bots
New versions of bots have been added
Tutorial
● A step-by-step tutorial will be added for the new user inside the game so they can play and understands the game better
Graphics
Environment
● A major update has been added to the game environment
● Users can now interact with many scene objects and have many undiscovered areas to hide and play
● Users will enjoy now smooth environment transitions
● Many environment ambient sounds have been added to the game
Game Win screen
● An improved game win screen has been added depending on the zones
New characters
● New characters have been added in the game for all user to try
